The Kia group was founded on June 9, 1944, with the original name Kyungsung Precision Industry in Korea. Originating from a manufacturing company that is quite secretive about two areas, including steel and bicycle components. In 1952, the company began creating vehicle manufacturing. This is a new period in the company’s development of car production as it is today.
In recent years, the Kia brand has focused its efforts on improving the quality and design of its automotive products to meet customer requirements and compete with other car brands. The Kia group has achieved recognition and reputation with its models, such as Optima, Soul, Sportage, Sorento, Stinger, and Kia Telluride. Besides, Kia is also promoting the development of advanced technology, including self-driving cars and electric cars.
So, In 2018, Kia gave its new product, the Kia Niro EV, a fully electric car capable of traveling approximately 240 miles (386 km) on a full charge. In 2020, the Kia group also launched the second-generation Soul EV and the Kia EV6, an electric vehicle built on the Hyundai-Kia Group’s first EV platform. The product, named the Kia EV6, can travel about 300 miles (483 km) on a full charge and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 96 km/h) in about 3.5 seconds.
