Volkswagen AG Group
Volkswagen, or Volkswagen AG Group (abbreviated VW), is known as the giant of luxury cars. This is a German multinational corporation in the field of automobile manufacturing headquartered in Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony.
Currently, on the market, there are some of the famous brands of this group, such as Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Porsche, SEAT, Škoda, and Lamborghini. In the commercial vehicle segment, Volkswagen AG owns MAN and Scania. Besides, the group also owns one of the hottest motorcycle brands in the world, Ducati.
Besides manufacturing and trading cars with success, Volkswagen Group also operates in the financial sector. So, this group owns 340 subsidiaries, nearly 150 countries with 100 factories. An interesting number is Volkswagen also owns nearly 20% of the shares of the Suzuki brand.
The first product of the Volkswagen AG group was Beetle for Fascist leader Adolf Hitler. However, by the end of July 2019, Beetle products of this brand stopped production.
