bKash was launched in July 2011, in Bangladesh by Kamal Quadir, offering basic services like cash in, cash out and sending money.

Now, bKash is a mobile financial service in Bangladesh, which operates under the authority of Bangladesh Bank and provides safe and easy to make payments and money transfers via mobile phones.
